SCHOLARSHIPS

The Orin Flanigan Scholarship & The Don Schroeder Scholarship

The scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to students pursuing research related to simulation, optimization, and/or control of pipelines. These scholarships are named after Orin Flanigan and Don Schroeder, two pioneers in the area of pipeline simulation, in recognition of the tremendous contribution that each of these individuals has made to PSIG over many years. The scholarships are awarded to deserving students conducting studies and/or research in the field of pipline simulation.


ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be enrolled in a doctoral or master’s graduate degree program with research related to simulation, optimization, and/or control of pipelines. Students must demonstrate a capability to deliver results along with a financial need that this scholarship will help to address.


APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications should be submitted before the end of November in the current calendar year.


SCHOLARSHIP

Each scholarship is awarded during alternate years and has a value of $10,000 USD. The successful applicant will be informed in February. The award will be given in the following calendar year in May.
