PSIG 51st Annual Meeting open for Registration

Houston, Texas, USA, February 4, 2020 – The Pipeline Simulation Interest Group (PSIG), a well-known and respected technical organization in the Pipeline Simulation Industry, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for its upcoming 51st Annual Meeting to be held in historic San Antonio, Texas from the 4th- 8th of May, 2020.

Details of the final agenda may be found at https://psig.org/current-conference/ together with information on conference registration and accommodation reservation. PSIG has also launched a conference app (powered by CrowdCompass) which will allow the user to view conference papers, provide feedback and access other important information about the conference. The app may be accessed on registration and will be used to push out information and notifications about the conference over the upcoming weeks.

Following the acclaimed two-day Pipeline Simulation Short Course, the conference will kick off with an informal ice breaker reception Tuesday evening. This year’s conference will include multiple sessions on the Wednesday comprising Analytic Methods, Electric Power and Gas Systems, Multiphase Systems, and Leak Detection.

A plenary session will be held on Thursday commencing with a keynote address given by a speaker from the renowned Southwest Research Institute of San Antonio. The award of the Don Schroeder PSIG Scholarship for the Advancement of Pipeline Simulation will take place in the afternoon with a formal reception hosted that evening. This year’s agenda will include a collection of 30 papers to be presented by speakers from all regions of the world including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Poland, Malaysia, China, and Australia.
